3 Cinco de Mayo Events Happening in Naples

Mexico’s victory over France during the 1862 Battle of Puebla is recognized on the fifth of May, popularly known as Cinco de Mayo. Consider celebrating this Cinco de Mayo at some of these events happening in Naples.

Event #1. Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Mercato

This annual celebration at Mercato is a community favorite that’s not-to-be-missed. Mercato has planned an entertaining day complete with lively music curated by a DJ, as well as tasty Mexican cuisine, and drinks. Since this event is free, there’s no need to be tempted to bring in outside refreshments, which is prohibited.

After the party draws on late into the evening, it’ll move inside of the popular Rocco’s Tacos restaurant so attendees can party on!

Event #2. Block Party at Rocco’s Tacos

Block-off your calendar for this special Cinco de Mayo block party! Rocco’s plans to celebrate Cinco to the max with live music and entertainment and a refreshing outdoor bar! With Rocco’s tasty Mexican flavors and signature drinks, a good time is sure to be had by all!

According to its website, Rocco’s describes its Cinco celebration as “…one of the biggest events of the year.”

This Cinco de Mayo event has something for everyone in the family and is intended for all ages and abilities. Attendees can expect to enjoy games, dancing, and other entertainment. Dinner, which is included with the cost of admission to the event, will be catered by a local Mexican restaurant.

A.I.R.—which refers to Adaptive Inclusive Recreation—centers on leisure activities developed to consider individuals with varying physical abilities and challenges by way of activity accommodations and modifications.
