Top 10 Things to do in Naples
Restaurants, Bars & Cafes

There are currently around 1000 restaurants in Collier County. It takes some time to visit all of them, but it won’t get boring, because once you’ve tried all the restaurants, you can be sure that new restaurants have already opened.

We have tried these ourselves and love them! We think you will too!

Shopping

Southwest Florida is a shopping paradise! You will find numerous malls and outlets where you can always find a bargain. But not only that, there are also many luxury boutiques with leading names such as Prada, Louis Vuitton and many more. If you don’t want to go through the numerous boutiques, go to the big department stores like Saks 5th Avenue or Neiman Marcus or Macy’s. Here are a few of our favorites:

Activities / Sports

Naples is one of the healthiest cities in the USA and that is certainly not just because of the good food or the good air and water quality but also because the people move around a lot. Of course, the almost always sunny weather is also decisive. No gray winter day can take away the desire to move in the fresh air. Whether you like golf, tennis, kayaking, boating or yoga on the beach, all of this and much more is offered in Naples. And if it is not so nice out or if the sun is too hot for you, there are other options from the fitness center to the skating rink to keep fit!  Here are some ideas for you:

Public golf courses
Eagle Lakes Golf Club
The Link of Naples

Public tennis courts:
Cambier Park Naples
Pelican Bay Community Park
Vineyards Community Park

Fitness Centers:
Naples Family Fitness
Greater Naples YMCA

Arts / Culture

Naples offers not only beaches, sun and fine food but also plenty of culture! With the Philharmonic Center for the Arts , the Opera Naples , Naples Players or the Gulfshore Opera , you will find enough choice of cultural entertainment here. But there is also a lot to offer when it comes to art! Numerous galleries and exhibitions year round make the artist’s heart beat faster. The Naples Museum of Art (Baker Museum), the Liebig Art Center and the numerous galleries on 5th Ave S or 3rd Street invite you to linger.

Beaches, Parks & Day Trips

Naples and the surrounding area are known for the fantastic beaches, which are among the most beautiful in Florida and therefore Naples was voted the best “Beach Town to live in” in 2017. No wonder the city and county invest approximately 40% of the revenue from the tourist tax each year for the maintenance and care of beaches and parks. The long sandy beach stretches from the exclusive residential area “Port Royal” to the north towards Bonita Springs and “Barefoot Beach”, albeit with individual breaks. The beach is not private and therefore accessible to everyone.
