- In Lee County seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues amounted to $3.2 million in June 2024. That’s 15 percent more than the June 2023 measurement.
- For coastal counties seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues totaled 7.7 million in June 2024. Up 9 percent from the same time last year.
Airport Passenger Activity
- Researchers at Florida Gulf Coast University reported that seasonally-adjusted airport passenger traffic at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) amounted to 927,872 in July 2024—an increase of 1 percent from July 2023.
