The median sales price for single-family homes in Naples increased by 6 percent in March 2024 from March 2023.

The 6 percent appreciation in home prices was due to a rise in value to $649,000 in March 2024 from $612,000 the same time last year.

This figure, although it’s an increase of .1 percent from the prior month, is still sizably lower than the U.S. national average of 3.8 percent in March 2024—according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

In Lee County the seasonally-adjusted real taxable sales totaled $1.606 billion in February 2024, which is 5 percent below January 2024.

Tourist Tax Revenues

On average, regional county revenue from tourism is up year-over-year:

In February 2024 seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in Collier County amounted to 3.7 million. This is 2 percent higher than February 2023.
Seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in Lee County were $3.5 million in February 2024—22 percent more than the same time last year.
Seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in coastal counties totaled $8.1 million in February 2024. That’s an 11 percent increase since February 2023.

Airport Passenger Activity

Per data from FGCU, airport passenger traffic at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) totaled 922,502 in March 2024—a 30 percent jump from March 2023.
