A median sales price of $650,000 in May 2024 accounted for the 8 percent appreciation of single-family home values, since the same time last year.

The seasonally-adjusted real taxable sales in Lee County totaled $1.608 billion in March 2024—a 1 percent dip from the month prior.

Tourist Tax Revenues

In Collier County seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in April 2024 totaled $3.6 million—5 percent more than the same time last year.

Seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in Lee County amounted to $3.2 million in April 2024—22 percent higher than April 2023.

In coastal counties seasonally-adjusted real tourist tax revenues in April 2024 were $7.7 million—a 13 percent rise from April 2023.

Airport Passenger Activity

Data gathered by analysts at FGCU indicated that airport passenger traffic at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) totaled 959,196 in May 2024—a rise of 11 percent since May of last year.
