Event #1. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in Concert

E.T. is a classic sci-fi/adventure film with universal appeal. The beloved 1982 Academy Award-winning movie by Steven Spielberg also won the award for Best Music by composer John Williams, and on this closing night of the Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) you can relive the magic of the movie on the silver screen set to a live performance of the film’s original score by the Naples Philharmonic—led by Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly. Imagine this engaging drama accompanied by the flourishes of a soaring soundtrack come-to-life to create an immersive experience and an unforgettable night! Event #2. Stone Crab Festival

All you foodies out there—we didn’t forget about you! The Stone Crab Festival is a mainstay in the Naples food and entertainment scene, and now in its 13th year it shows no signs of slowing down. The festival, which is situated within the bustling Naples Waterfront, showcases tasty stone crab and also offers festivalgoers an assortment of other delicious seafood choices. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, peruse the wares of arts and crafts vendors, pay a visit to local shops, and enjoy other activities around the waterfront.

This annual event, now in its 13th year, will offer a preview of this season’s dance performances from some of The Sunshine State’s premier dance companies and choreographers. Attendees will be able to enjoy a variety of ten short works that span dance styles including modern, Flamenco, ballet, and contemporary. The evening will showcase works from dance companies that include Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, Syncopate Collective, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Zest Collective, and New World Dance Ensemble. For dance lovers, it’s sure to be a night that’s not-to-be-missed!
