When you are blessed with the opportunity to spend some days in Naples in SWFL and whether you are here in paradise just for vacation or you live here year-round or seasonal you should consider a cruise. When I talk about a cruise I am not talking about a trip with one of the amazing vessels to the Caribbean Islands (which is a fun thing to do, of course).
No, I am talking about a short trip beginning in Naples Bay and taking you to some great spots and amazing views. The Naples Princess Cruise has several offers from which to choose – dinner cruises, live entertainment specialty cruises or sightseeing cruise.
The cruise I did started in the afternoon, approximately one hour before sunset and that for a good reason as you might see later in the report. We started, stuffed with some drinks from the very friendly operated full bar and found a beautiful spot on the upper deck.
Having maneuvered out of the port we passed fantastic villas and dream homes you can only see from a boat or vessel. Once more I understood why people call Naples “paradise” and why it is realistic that it is one of the wealthiest cities in the US. You cannot describe it, just see it.
After leaving the residential area the captain brought his passengers a few yards onto the open sea of the Gulf of Mexico. Now I knew why we left close to sunset. We stopped at a spot where you can on one side enjoy the romantic views of sunset and on the other side spectacular views to Port Royal and just ENJOY before coming to an end as the Princess returns to the dock.
For me it was an experience I will never forget, and I will surely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone.
